Google Chrome starts advanced users about "similar URLs"; Live Group Tab Function in Canary Channel
Google Chrome is ready to send you warnings about similar URLs. This new move will help you easily distinguish fictitious websites from original websites and stop all malicious webmasters using slightly misspelled domains from popular portals for massive hits or phishing campaigns. This feature is initially in the testing phase and has been available since the release of Chrome Canary 70 since last October. However, users of the latest stable version of Chrome can also see its presence with the help of the "Suggestions for navigation for similarity URLs" indicator.
As the name of the flag indicates, Google is essentially aimed at educating Chrome users at all similar sites. This feature is also useful in case you misspelled an unintentional web link.
As ZDNet indicates, the indicator is in the testing phase since the release of Chrome Canary 70. It is also available as an experimental feature in the latest stable version of Chrome introduced recently. However, the stable version has not yet started to detect the likeness URLs.
To enable the new feature, you must visit chrome: // flags / # enable-lookalike-url-navigation-suggestions. Once activated, the feature displays a drop-down panel below the address bar to reconfirm the URL you are about to visit. The drop-down panel includes the correct URL to highlight spelling errors in the address bar.
Google has not officially announced the release of the latest feature. However, ZDNet reports that a Google Chrome engineer mentioned this feature in his presentation at the USENIX Enigma conference in the United States. It seems that the new development might soon be enabled by default.
In another development, a Tab Groups feature designed to organize tabs into different groups is now available in the Canary Chrome channel. The feature was reported last November, but, as reported in the Android font, a flag to enable the Tab Groups feature is available in the latest version of Chrome Canary.
The Tab Groups feature can help you save memory on your system by grouping multiple tabs. The description of the indicator also confirms that the feature will be part of the Mac, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS machines.
TechDows users, who have located the Live Tab Groups feature in the Chrome channel, indicate that users can add different tabs to separate groups.

There is Add to new group and Add to existing group the options you can see after right clicking on an active tab. However, the visual separation of each group of tabs remains to be found.
