Google I / O 2019 is scheduled for May 7-9. Google will host the developer conference at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View,
California CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed in a tweet published Saturday. Initially, Google followed its trend and teased the I / O 2019 conference with a puzzle. But soon after, the search giant tweeted a block of 12 tweet lines with a URL leading to a video in order to tease the next I / O program, it was decided by a Twitter user. The I / O 2019 will probably be where the Pichai team would announce Android Q, the next major version of Android. The next Google I / O Developer Conference could also feature updates of developments such as Duplex announced last year.

Following the trend of publishing enigmatic puzzles to indicate the dates of his conference I / O, Google this year published a tweet with an image containing a 12-line message and a URL leading to a video. The video basically read the text. Twitter user Till Kottmann was able to decode the cryptic image in a short time. He was able to locate the information hidden in a JSON code snippet.

Shortly after the puzzle was solved on Twitter, CEO Sundar Pichai officially revealed the Google I / O 2019 calendar in a tweet posted on Saturday. "See you at Shoreline Amphitheater on May 7th and 9th for this year's I / O!" Pichai tweeted.

Google I / O dates for this year are consistent with previous calendars. As a reminder, Google had launched the conference I / O last year on May 8.

Android Q should be one of the most important announcements of this year's I / O. The next iteration of the Android operating system would have a dark system-wide mode, a desktop mode and face ID typeface recognition, similar to that of Apple.

In addition to Android Q, Google will likely detail various upgrades to the AI and ARCore Duplex projects at I / O 2019. There could also be upgrades to existing products such as Google Lens, News, and Maps, among others.
